Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder is the professionally-known name of Winona Laura Hoowitz who was born within Winona Minnesota. The parents named her Winona for her home town. Michel Horowitz is her father, while Cynthia Palmer is her mother. Ryder's father was from the Jewish family Ryder thinks she's Jewish. Uria is Ryder's younger brother. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are the half siblings of Ryder. Ryder relocated with her family members to Mendocino County California at the age of seven. There was no electricity. Ryder was a consummate reader and spent her time reading books as she had no television. When she turned twelve, Ryder enrolled in the American Conservatory Theatre to take acting classes. In the year she turned 15, Ryder landed her very first role on the screen in Lucas. Ryder was bullied throughout high school. Her acting career, she hoped, would help her. But it wasn't to come to pass. But she pushed on with her dreams. In 1988 she had her big break in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder was able to continue her successful performances in a variety of films. In 1993 she won an Academy Awards in the film The Age of Innocence.
